CAREERHe obtained a pair of drumsticks at the age of five, and received his own drum at the age of ten. In just one year, he has played "The Black Page" with students in the percussion ensemble performed by his teacher.In high school, join Avenged Sevenfold as one of the founding members of this band. Sullivan is a drummer for the band Ska band Suburban Legends. At the age of eighteen he recorded his first album with Avenged Sevenfold titled "Sounding the Seventh Trumpet". Later in life he was influenced by drummers Vinnie Paul, Mike Portnoy, and Terry Bozzio. He even had a "visual" influence, Tommy Lee, in which he commented that "I did not expect to have any of them." Sullivan's ability to call "The Double-ride" is a technique that can be heard on the song "Almost Easy" in which he plays double to the fast tempo between double bass and cymbal riding.The drum company "Drum Workshop" endorsed The Rev and said he can have the drum he wants, so he chooses a double bass drum, which he chooses rather than a double bass pedal.The Rev is not just playing drums, he is a vocalist, songwriter, and pianist for Avenged Sevenfold as well. is heard on the song "Warmness In Soul" where the piano part is the main focus of the song that includes solos written by The Rev. The vocals are featured in "Avenged Sevenfold" , and "afterlife." His knowledge of guitars and pianos for writing "Almost Easy," A Little Piece of Heaven, "afterlife", "Brompton Cocktail" and "Critical Acclaim" Avenged Sevenfold selfl-titled. He also contributed to the making of "Critical Acclaim" and "Lost". The band became very popular and won the MTV Music Award for Best New Artist in 2006. And in 2009, in a poll of some of the world's biggest drummers conducted by Rhythm Magazine, The Rev got the place as the 41st greatest drummer of all time, and he is one of the greatest drummers in the world in 9th place.
