Biography of LInkin Park

Linkin Park 


The start of Linkin Park formation is meeting Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson (Linkin Park guitarist) in grade 7. Then they formed a band called Xero. Brad also played for the band Relative Degree, one of his personnel is Rob Bourdon (drummer Linkin Park). Mike gets acquainted with Rob through Brad and Rob joins Xero. During college, Brad became acquainted with Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (Linkin Park bassist) who is Brad's roommate. Mike, who majored in illustration at Pasadena Art University, met with Joe Hahn (turntablis Linkin Park). Then, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn join Xero. Dave had left Xero to rejoin his old band, Tasty Snax.Initially, they recruited Mark Wakefield as vocalist, then taken over by Chester Bennington (former vocalist Gray Daze) until now, while Mike then became rapper. Unfortunately, because the Xero name has been used by another group, they were forced to change the name to Hybrid Theory. Then after being rejected 3 times, Hybrid Theory successfully received by a record company called Warner Bros.. Records after successfully launching the EP entitled Hybrid Theory EP in 1999 as many as a thousand pieces. However, at the time Mike had a problem with Jeff Blue, his manager. Jeff Blue says that Mike does not have to rapping, just play the keyboard alone. This incident inspired Mike to write the song Get Me Gone (Fort Minor)Once again, they were forced to change the name because the name Hybrid Theory is similar to the name of the Hybrid music group from Wales. Instead of being the same band, they chose to change their name again to Linkin Park. However, before being named Linkin Park, they had changed its name to 0818. This name was also only known in mid-2009, when Brad Delson spoke at a graduation ceremony at UCLA, Los Angeles, mid-2009. Linkin Park name taken Chester from the name of a park in Los Angeles, Lincoln Park. In order to manage his own website, Chester changed his spelling to Linkin Park. After that, they managed to buy the website www.linkinpark.com.
